Event Details:
The Positive Play Youth Basketball Clinic is more than just a skills camp—it’s an opportunity for young athletes to grow both on and off the court. Open to boys and girls ages 7-18, this clinic focuses on basketball fundamentals, teamwork, and confidence-building while promoting a positive mindset and mental wellbeing.
Led by Charlie Hage, former Brockport High School Boys Varsity Basketball Coach and Empire Games Coach, Jack Hogan, former lecturer at SUNY Brockport, Gerard Iglesia, co-founder of PrimeTime585, and Jake Russell, founder and head trainer of Basketball+, participants will develop skills in perseverance, self-discipline, and motivation in both sports and life.
As part of A Weekend for Wellbeing, each registration includes:

- One general admission ticket to the Homecourt Heroes Celebrity Basketball Game on the evening of May 3!

A Weekend for Wellbeing: A Collaboration for Mental Health
The Mental Health Association of Rochester and Premier Talent Relations are excited to collaborate on A Weekend for Wellbeing, a transformative two-day event that blends MHA’s dedication to providing mental health services with Premier Talent Relations’ passion for creating unforgettable experiences. Led by Joe Lynch, whose personal connection to mental health drives this mission, this partnership aims to raise both awareness and vital funding for mental health resources.
Join us for a weekend of comedy, a youth basketball clinic, and a celebrity basketball game, all designed to celebrate mental health, community, and connection. Together, we’ll raise awareness and funds to support the essential services provided by the Mental Health Association of Rochester.
