A conversation on resilience, trauma exposure, and mental wellness in first responders

Date: February 10, 2026
Time: 6:00 PM
Location: Mental Health Association of Rochester (274 N. Goodman St., Ste. D103, Rochester, NY 14607)

About the Event:

Join us this February for our MHA Speaker Series with Kimberly Butler, PhD, LCSW, M.S., Director, MCSO Health & Wellness

First responders routinely encounter traumatic and critical events, often carrying that impact for decades. In this session, Kimberly focuses on supporting law enforcement from the inside out, acknowledging what has been seen, processing its effects, and finding ways to continue showing up in meaningful ways.

This conversation highlights the importance of resilience, self-awareness, and the value of caring for those who serve. You can only do what you can do, and how you show up matters.
