We’re excited to announce that the Mental Health Association of Rochester was recently featured on 13WHAM. The segment highlighted our recent Open House event, where we shared our resources with the community and celebrated our new location at Village Gate on North Goodman Street.

During the event, visitors had the opportunity to explore various rooms in the space, including the art room where individuals can express themselves creatively through painting or crochet.

Valerie Way, President/CEO of MHA, emphasized the importance of providing support and resources to those in crisis, stating, “A lot of crisis happens because people just don’t know where to turn. They don’t know who to talk with, and we are that resource for them.”
