Welcome to the MHA Rochester’s Anger Management Program, endorsed by the National Anger Management Association (NAMA). This program is tailored for individuals seeking to address and manage anger issues effectively.

Program Overview:

  • Target Audience: Individuals looking to manage anger issues, not designed for clinicians.
  • Duration: 8 weeks
  • Certification: Participants will receive a  certification of completion (Court-approved, meets legal requirements if needed).
  • Cost: Completely free of charge!

What You’ll Learn:

Our comprehensive program covers:

  • Understanding anger as a natural human emotion and its various expressions.
  • Identifying sources and triggers of anger.
  • Learning healthy examples of anger and constructive ways to manage it.
  • Stress management techniques to reduce anger triggers.
  • Strategies for dealing with rage and defusing anger in challenging situations.
  • Conflict resolution skills to improve relationships.
  • Managing anger and hostility effectively.

Additional Sessions:

Participants will have the opportunity to attend additional sessions tailored to further refine strategies learned during the core program.
